Sasha Kelley is an Oakland based artist, publisher and creative professional. Sasha is deeply embedded in the Oakland Black Arts & Culture space through the facilitation of community activations, leading arts collectives, and producing over 100 cultural events. Their work has included running community art spaces, directing multidisciplinary creative projects, and cultivating spaces where Black artists and cultural practitioners can thrive. Sasha has a deep appreciation for the legacy of Black artistic and cultural movements in Oakland, and is committed to ensuring it’s continued growth through intentional relationship-building and resource-sharing.
